We left camp... we was cherd all the way by crowd of sitercens. a flag was waven over most every house and every winder was crouded with ladys...I have bin on the front line two days a poping a way... I have no chois wher my body is lade after hit cant serve its cuntry no mour but I hope we may be victorous and I may soon return home to enjoy frends and cuntry... the yankees is advancen. I must lay down my pen and go to shooting.
